Cabling infrastructure

Structured fibre and copper cabling, comms cabinets and the equipment that goes in them.

Everything else on this site depends on the cable in the walls. Structured cabling means network points where people actually sit, all running back to a tidy cabinet where every lead is labelled.

We install copper cabling to desks and access points, fibre between cabinets and buildings, and the cabinets, patch panels and switches that tie it together.

We provide cabling for businesses across Warrington, St Helens, Widnes and the North West, from our base in Warrington.

What's included

  • Site survey

Where points are needed, cable routes, and where the cabinet should live.

  • Copper and fibre

Cat6 to desks, phones and access points. Fibre for longer runs and between buildings.

  • Cabinets and patching

Comms cabinets, patch panels and switches, installed and patched neatly.

  • Testing and labelling

Each point tested, and both ends labelled so faults can be traced quickly.

  • Documentation

A record of what goes where, for you and anyone who works on it later.

Common questions

Can you work around our opening hours?

We plan the work with you to keep disruption down, and can schedule noisy or disruptive work for quieter times.

Our cabinet is a mess. Can you sort it out?

Yes. We can re-patch and label an existing cabinet, trace unknown cables and remove anything that's no longer used.

Copper or fibre?

Copper for most connections inside a building. Fibre when runs are too long for copper, between buildings, or where you need very high speeds between cabinets.

How much does office network cabling cost?

It depends on the number of points, the length of the runs and the building. We survey first and give you an estimated price, including VAT.

Cat6 or Cat6a?

Cat6 suits most offices. Cat6a is worth it for long runs or where you want headroom for faster speeds later. We will recommend one after the survey.
