Server infrastructure
Physical and virtual servers, specified for what your business actually runs, then installed and looked after.
Most small businesses need a server for fewer things than they used to. Email and documents often live in Microsoft 365 now. What's left, such as shared files, line-of-business software, backups and user accounts, still needs somewhere reliable to run.
We look at what you use day to day and recommend the simplest setup that does the job. That might be a physical server in a cabinet, virtual servers on one host, the cloud, or a mix.
We provide server infrastructure for businesses across Warrington, St Helens, Widnes and the North West, from our base in Warrington.

Common questions
Do we still need a server if we use Microsoft 365?
Sometimes not. If your files are in SharePoint or OneDrive and your software runs in the browser, you may be able to retire the server altogether. We'll tell you honestly if that's the case.
Our server is old. Can you move us to something new?
Yes. We plan the migration around your working day, move data and accounts across, and check everything works before the old machine is switched off.
What's a virtual server?
One physical machine running several separate servers in software. It's usually cheaper to buy and run, and easier to back up and restore.
How much does a new server cost for a small business?
It depends on what it needs to run and how many people use it. We look at that first and give you an estimated price, including VAT, before any work starts.
Can you take over a server someone else installed?
Yes. We check what is running, how it is backed up and what needs attention, then look after it from there.
